 Following the sad loss of our former CEO, David Hurley, in May 2005, PW appointed me as his successor.
In his own message on this page David expressed the hope that Africa, the sleeping continent, would awake and make its proper and deserved mark.
We are now very much in times of change with African governments showing new vision and the developed countries showing acceptance of the need for change. Political initiatives such as New Partnership for African Development and Commission for Africa will assist this change. The continents human, mineral and agricultural resources will provide the means.
Thirty years experience working in Africa makes PW an ideal partner on infrastructural, mining and marine projects. We look forward to an era of prosperity by working closely with clients, planning work effectively, maximizing productivity and successfully managing risk.
I look forward to receiving support from the dedicated management and workforce that has brought PW to the fore front of construction and mining in Africa and the patronage of clients who know we will deliver.
