Opportunity for Construction Professionals in West Africa.
PW Group companies are continually working on a range of civil engineering projects including roads, airports, dams, marine structures and also in contract mining. Our road construction projects include major earthworks, bridges and surfacing, all directly executed. We will recruit suitable personnel in these areas of operations, in management, supervisory, surveying and plant maintenance roles.

Candidates for project management staff should ideally have a third level qualification in Civil Engineering required for the following posts, and will be expected to have ability to manage all aspects of the project from start-up to hand-over.

Plant Maintenance Supervisor |

The applicant should have wide ranging experience in the maintenance of equipment used on earthmoving / road / mining / infrastructure projects.
Having gained adequate hands-on maintenance / diagnostic / repair experience, they should now be ready to take the step up to co-ordinating these operations on a modern fleet of plant and manage the staff of technicians in the field and / or workshop, or already have some experience in this role. Previous experience in a similar position would definitely be an advantage.
The nature of our work will be • road construction • bulk earthworks associated with development of opencast mine sites • tailings dam construction • heavy duty pavement construction (airport, seaports etc).
The position reports to the Plant Manager and Site / Project Manager .

Earthworks Supervisor |

Having gained adequate hands-on operating experience, they should now be ready to take the step up to co-ordinating a modern fleet of plant and manage equipment operators, or already have some experience in this role.
Previous experience in a similar position would definitely be an advantage.
